We have just released the dates of our RPS Training Courses for 2011. They are as follows:

All our standard RPS courses contain the following features:
- Two full days of training
- Colour personalised laser printed course binder
- En-suite room on Day 1
- All meals over the two days
- Course test
- Course certificate
- Free parking and wifi / internet access
For 2012 the course fees are £449 plus VAT. This is an inclusive rate with all the above features included.

Radioactive Exemption Resource Update
We have just removed all of the repealed Radioactive Substances Exemption Orders from our exemption page and replaced them with the new UK guidance document and the associated legislation. Time will tell if this turns out to be simpler to apply then the original exemption orders.
The Ionactive Consulting website was the first site anywhere to feature electronic versions of the original exemption orders (back in 2002).
Some of the exemption orders were so old (1963 vintage) that they were difficult to get hold of. We were able to find a full set and after talking to HMSO scanned them all and placed them on the website.
The website page was so popular that a well known regulator hot linked to the page and placed our versions on their own intranet! Time has moved on and in some ways it is sad to see the fruits of all our scanning binned!
Furthermore, the fun was short lived as soon others then also uploaded versions of the same documents (including the regulators).
